I Remember You
I remember you
Fragile like a peony
Asking for love like a rose
Begging for water like a church
I remember you
As thick and glowing as snow
on an a December evening
As high and mighty as a beautiful stallion
As honest as a teardrop falling
From a honeydew bee
I remember you
Growing like orchids
Stable like sky
frightened like moonlit shadows
I remember you
Glowing like earth
Roaring like cloud
And enjoying life
Like a single red rose.

Tick Tock
Tick tock
Time runs slowly
And fast for some
Tick tock
Nevermore
Will i see my love
In dreams perhaps
In thought
In waking memories of my beloved
Tick tock
Dreams inspire dreams
And my love inspires life
From beyond.
-Samantha Durling
